The SIP Bench Morticer with Cabinet is a powerful woodworking tool that can be used to cut square or rectangular holes into a piece of wood for applications including joinery, and cabinet and furniture making. Also suitable for DIY and hobbyist projects.
Built with heavy-duty 1400rpm motor, this morticer can also double as a pillar drill. By changing the morticing chisel for a drill bit (3mm min. - 16mm. max., not supplied), this SIP Bench Morticer provides additional woodworking capabilities.
Applications & uses: Ideal for furniture making including tables, chairs, cabinets and wardrobes. Suitable for hinges and handle systems, doors and windowframes, beams and posts, fencing and railings. Perfect for hobbyists and DIY projects.
- 6MM (1/4") TO 26MM (1") CHISEL CAPACITY FOR ADDED FLEXIBILITY: The morticer accommodates chisels from 6mm (1/4") to 26mm (5/8") providing added application flexibility. This means that the morticer can operate with smaller chisels suitable for fine detail and more intricate work such as delicate joints or frames. Bigger chisels can also be used with this morticer for larger or deeper mortices used in furniture, structural components and more heavy-duty joinery.
- VERSATILE 210MM MAX. CHISEL STROKE SUITABLE FOR DEEP MORTICES: A maximum chisel stroke of 210mm allows for deeper mortices in a single pass without repositioning the workpiece. This will also mean less requirement for multiple passes, increasing efficiency when working on deeper joints. A larger chisel stroke also gives greater control over the depth of cut.
- ADJUSTABLE SLIDING TABLE WITH LONGITUDINAL & LATERAL TABLE MOVEMENT: An adjustable 400mm x 150mm sliding table allows for precise positioning of the workpiece. Allows for fine-tuned repositioning of the workpiece without the need to move or unclamp it. The sliding table is particularly useful for multiple mortices along the same rail or stile. A large work area means that larger or irregular workpieces can be accommodated easily.
- HEAVY-DUTY CAST IRON DESIGN WITH STORAGE CABINET FOR RELIABLE DURABILITY & STABILITY: Built with heavy-duty cast iron components including the base and support column for durability and stability during operation. In the event of a power outage or surge, the machine requires the user to start it manually rather than automatically restarting. This also means less risk of damaging the workpiece or disrupting machine alignment.

Delivery Information
Mainland UK Delivery
We aim to dispatch all mainland UK orders for next working day delivery using a 24-hour courier service (excluding weekends and Bank Holidays). To qualify for same-day dispatch, your order must be paid for before 1pm.
Please note: While we use a 24-hour delivery service, this is not guaranteed and delays can occasionally occur due to courier circumstances beyond our control.
Extended Delivery Areas & Oversized Items
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scotland, Highlands, and Remote Islands are sent via a 48-hour delivery service.
Items that are over 30kg in weight or longer than 1.2 metres will also be shipped on a 2-working-day service due to handling requirements.
Some large or heavy items are not eligible for delivery outside mainland UK or to the Highlands. We will notify you at checkout if this applies to your order.

How to Return an Item
To return an item, please follow these steps:

Receive Your RMA Number:
We'll provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) number and detailed instructions on how to proceed. -
Download the RMA Form:
Download the RMA form. Complete the form and include it with your returned item. If you're unable to download or complete the form, our customer service team is here to help. Simply give us a call or send us an email, and we'll assist you in completing the form over the phone or provide an alternative method that suits your needs. -
Prepare Your Return:
Ensure the product is in its original packaging and in good condition. -
Return the Goods:
- Faulty or Incorrect Items: We'll arrange to collect the item from you at no additional cost.
- Change of Mind or Mistakenly Ordered: You are responsible for the return shipping costs.
- Receive Your Resolution: After we receive and inspect the item, we'll either repair, replace, or refund your purchase within 14 days using the same payment method you used for your purchase.
Types of Returns
1. Faulty or Incorrect Items
Under UK consumer law, you have the right to reject a faulty or incorrect item within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. If a fault develops within 6 months you are entitled to a repair or replacement. Should these remedies fail, you can then claim a refund.
All our factory refurbished stock is tested in the manufacturer's workshops and comes with a manufacturer-approved 6 months warranty, offering additional protection beyond your statutory rights. You may choose to contact the manufacturer directly for warranty services. However, these warranties do not replace your rights under UK consumer law, and you can still seek remedies through us as outlined above.
- Entitled to Repair or Replacement: Contact us using the general returns procedure to request a repair or replacement.
- If Repair or Replacement Fails: You may then request a refund through the same returns procedure.
2. Change of Mind or Mistakenly Ordered
If you've changed your mind or made a mistake with your order, you can return the item within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund. Follow the General Returns Procedure outlined above. You are responsible for covering the return shipping costs.
Condition of Returned Goods
To ensure a seamless return process, please return items in their original packaging to protect them during transit and maintain their resalable condition and ensure items are in good condition and free from damage beyond normal handling.
Diminished Value: You may be responsible for any loss in value if the item is not returned in a resalable condition.
Refunds
Refunds are issued using the same payment method you used for your original purchase and will be processed within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or proof of shipment.
Please note: Shipping costs are not refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
